Halloween Party

My girlfriend Alyson throws a Halloween party every year. It started at 9:30 (late for me!), so we decided to make an evening of it. We went for dinner at American Pie (love the buffalo chicken flat bread), and then went to Lauren's to get ready for the party and to play Peanuts. The picture to the left is us before the party. Jen saw these haystacks behind the restaurant, and was sure they were there for photo opportunities. Hey - why else would there be haystacks in an empty lot behind a restaurant?

Back to the party. This year, the theme was the 80's. No costume, no entrance. There were 5 girls from the office that were going together, and we decided to try to do a group outfit. Megan came up with the idea of Richard Simmons and the workout girls. All of a sudden, legs warmers and side pony tails were back in! I was Richard Simmons and had my work out groupies fully dressed in blue eye shadow, jellies, leg warmers, and teased bangs.

Oh the memories! We made our own shirts w/iron-on paper and sayings from Richard. My shirt had a picture of the girls on it, and theirs had pictures of Richard. We laughed so hard and had such a great time. We also saw Rainbow Bright, Care Bears, She-Ra Princess of Power, and Beaker.

Will any of these pics be in the baby book? "How I spent my time waiting for you to be born?"
